Monsoon? Not again

Hello readers. The monsoon starting again for this time of the year. Flying progress? Very slow indeed. I managed to passed my Type Rating test last month with APAC 01M. Alhamdulillah. A little bit this and that doing that test. Punishment? Homework of course. Took me few days to finish writing them up. Now I'm currently on airways exercise and hopefully will finish by this end of this year, In sha Allah.

Back Again...

Assalamualaikum and hello..

It's been 2 years since I left my blog untouched, now it's looking

full with spider's web and dead flies. Haha.

Well.. I seemed to be bothered by other things especially flying..

Now I'm back in Terengganu with two of my batch mates,

Syakirin and Sheikh.

We're trying hard to keep flying to complete single engine hours - 145:00

Currently, we're staying at the new place we called `sarang burung'

just a few steps away from the hangar here.

The main problem right now is the hot weather.. damn hot!

but the flying progress is so much better in this time of the year.

Hello...hello..

Assalamualaikum and hello there.
Have been busy last couple of months
because of ground school and matters of life,

I am so sorry for not updating my blog and left it alone in the dark.
Sometimes, same old things been done every single day here
kind of made me losing ideas to post something here.

Here’s the news.
Right now is the monsoon season here in Kota Bharu every year.
So the chances of not flying are very high and
if some of us got their name listed on the sortie board
must be on standby if the weather prohibit us from take-off.

I have been here with my friends for a year now and
there are so many things we have learned and shared between us.
Even some of us were getting into trouble breaching the rules.
Don’t bother about that.  Haha..

I should better iron my shirt and pants and
study for tomorrow. Wish me luck!

p/s: Here some new pictures to share and Happy Anniversary for my batch..  :-)

During management class last two months..

Thanks for the gift, Captain Erny!

You know you’re a Pilot when...

1.   You know all types of clouds that you see when you see the sky.

2.   When you drove your car, first thing you do is make a checklist

3.   Instead of saying I do in your wedding day, you say ‘affirm’

4.    Your friends always ask you, “Why do you always use Feet and not Metres?”

5.   You draw pictures of runways, airports, airplanes, etc. when you are bored

6.   “Affirm” and “Negative” replace “Yes” and “No” in your daily speech

7.   You always stare at Captains when you see one at major airports

8.   Your camera is full of aeroplane photos.

9.   you hope to one day live next to the airport, while your mates thinks you are stupid.

10.  Your ultimate goal is to fly for an airline company ( not a domestic one)

11.  You know the phrase for working in an airline:
“Never screw your crew.”
12.  You hate Nimbostratus (Ns) clouds.

13.  Every time you hear an aircraft flying above you, you ALWAYS tend to look up at the sky without thinking twice, and you won’t stop staring at the aircraft until it’s out of sight

14.   Your friend always tries to tease you by calling out “Hey! a 797, look!!” when they see a random plane flying, and you know there is no such plane call a 797.

15.  You know exactly what this means:

PAPA-INDIA-LIMA-OSCAR-TANGO-SIERRA
ALPHA-ROMEO-ECHO
TANGO-HOTEL-ECHO
BRAVO-ECHO-SIERRA-TANGO!

16.  This happens to be your favourite phrase/quote,
a.   “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you had been and there you long to return...”
 Leonardo Da Vinci
b.   You keep your eyes on the sky all the time and constantly looking out for aircraft

17.  You know you love your course when:

a.   You think holiday sucks and can’t wait to return to the airport.
b.   You know everyone thinks u are cool even though u are just an normal person
c.    You think it’s reasonable to leave the airport at 11PM and come back at 8AM the day after.
d.   You enjoy every single minutes you spend at the airport.
